The incoming Highlander uses a 2.5L petrol-electric hybrid system with E-CVT and provides a seven-seat cabin for family and business travel.

Compared with the 2.5L Hybrid 4WD Luxury grade in the same model range, Limited-grade upgrades include second-row seat heating, a hands-free power tailgate, a head-up display, a high-definition panoramic-view monitor with transparent chassis view, PKSB parking support brake for stationary objects, and wood-grain cabin trim.
