TKM MOTORS' Second Fangchengbao Titanium 7 Batch Arrives at Duqm, with Dubai Transfer Delayed by Port Capacity Constraints
Recently, TKM MOTORS' second batch of Fangchengbao Titanium 7 vehicles arrived safely at Port of Duqm, Oman, on 21 August. Because of risks affecting Middle East shipping lanes, the batch uses Duqm as a transshipment port and is subsequently planned for cross-border overland transfer to Dubai.
At present, Port of Duqm has limited complete-vehicle handling capacity, and its terminal yards and vehicle-operating turnover are under considerable pressure, causing delays in the progress of transferring this batch of vehicles from Oman to Dubai. With the knock-on effects of the geopolitical environment, uncertainty affects both terminal operations and cross-border transport-truck scheduling along the transshipment chain, extending the overall delivery cycle.
Since the Dubai company began operations, TKM MOTORS has actively used alternative transshipment routes to respond to the shortage of direct-sailing capacity and ensure that China-made vehicles can reach the Middle East. Facing the time losses caused by transshipment, the company is coordinating with local logistics partners and making every effort to advance terminal operations, cross-border customs transit and transport-truck scheduling, while continuing to follow vehicle-transfer progress.
